2013 Spring Bottle Drive

This April 6, 2013 the 24th Parkallend Scouting Group will be out in your neighbourhood for a Bottle Drive and Edmonton Food Bank Drive starting at 9:00 am.

Please leave your Food Bank Donations and Scout Bottle Donations on your front step by 9:00 am.

Most needed food items:
  • Beans with/without Pork
  • Canned Fish or Meat
  • Macaromi & Cheese Dinners or Pasta
  • Baby Food or Baby Formula
  • Peanut Butter
  • Powder Milk
  • Soup
  • Canned Fruits or Vegetables
All funds raised from the Bottle Drive go towards the 24th Parkallen Scout Group programs.

Winter Camp 2013


Our annual Winter Camp at Camp Evansburg will be on March 8 - 10, 2013.  This is an all section camp where youth get to go tubing, hiking, participate in outdoor games, skill development, crafts, stories, our all section Cub Car Classic Derby and camp fire sing along.  It is a lot of fun and hope to see you there.

Group Committee Meeting Jan 21st

We will be having our Group Committee Meeting on January 21st at the Southgate Food Court starting at 7:00 PM.  This is a great time for parents and leaders to sit and chat to develop a great scouting program for our youth memebers.

November 7, 2012 Meeting Cancelled



Due to the severe snow storm today and that the road conditions are not the greatest we are cancelling our regular meeting for November 7, 2012.  Our Scout Group will be meeting next week at the Parkallen School on November 14th. 

Please note that our annual march in the Remembrance Day Parade at the U of A Butterdome is this November 11th.  Please arrive in full uniform and meet me, Robert Leddy on the floor of the Butterdome no by 9:30 AM.  There is free parking at the University of Alberta for this special day.
